Hi! I have just bought an imported 2010 Kia morning car, ECO engine. When I am running this vehicle, the ECO light always in the state “On”. At the beginning, the light is white and then green. I want to know what this fault is. Thank you!
Answer: Hi! As you described, your vehicle have no fault. The “ECO” light change its’ color to inform drivers to know the optimum of the fuel consumption and the level of pollution at the current time, it also tell drivers to adjust the way they drive the car.
- Green: Indicate you are driving economically (best mode), consume less fuel and less harm to environment (environmental friendly cars)
- White: Indicate a normal state in fuel consumption and environmental pollution.
- Red: Indicate big fuel consumption and most environmental consumption (e.g.: accelerate suddenly….).
