Home A & Q Gasoline engine electrical system
Question: Could DTDAUTO help me with this case: I have a Lexus GX460 car, after changing the engine oil I hear a small noise inside the engine and there is a triangular light blink on the instrument panel when I turn on the ignition key, start engine and change any gear without “P” position. When I changed to P gear, engine operates normally, I wonder whether this fault is caused of oil or not?
Answer: If you assured that you changed the proper oil, right quantity level (not too much/few) and did not start the engine when drain off the oil, then this fault will not relate to your described fault. The fault may be caused of a mechanical part happened at the same time. This fault may appear inside the engine before; you should go to a workshop to check by experienced repairer or good equipment to find exact fault position. If anyone has ever experienced this fault, please contact us to find way to solve with this. Thank you!
